Pray at the right place.

1 Kings 3:1-15

For those who are praying at Gibeon, please pray at the right place.
Salomon was offering holocaust at Gibeon at the high place but where there was no ark of covenant that was needed in order for his prayers to be answered by God. We know without the ark of the covenant, the Israelites when they fight, they lost their battles.. So when Salomon prayed and asked God for Wisdom and Knowledge, God visited him in a dream, then he knew to go to Jerusalem to pray. Salomon asked for Wisdom and Knowledge, and these two things touched God's heart because Salomon didn’t ask for money, death for his enemies. Instead, he asked for the knowledge of administrative justice that he would use to serve, work with God's people, manage and govern them with. . God answers him by giving him everything: including money, God wants us to seek first the Kingdom of God and everything will be given to us. God is still God. We need to ask God for things that can last in his Kingdom forever for us to be able to talk and walk accordingly and still be still in covenant with Him. Always ask for God’s wisdom and knowledge in Jesus Christ’s name.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for allowing me to pray and I thank you for being my God and my Maker. I welcome your Holy Spirit and I love you, I trust you and believe that you are in my life to make me be a better person. Cleanse me and forgive my sins in Jesus Christ's name. I do not want to miss out on living for you. I want to make sure I am saved in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I ask you to give me your spirits of wisdom, knowledge and help me to discern how to pray and where to pray in Jesus Christ's name. I pray. Amen!
