Power of God

Deuteronomy 8

Brethren, I know it is not easy to please God, and I said this because I listen and hear about everyone’s life struggles or hardships in the world, we are all living in. Above all, we need to thank God every time, every moment, day, night, for everything. He is our God; He knows us because we were created by Him. When we have money, we build beautiful houses, we get good jobs, we look beautiful, successful… etc, we say to people and to ourselves, we did this, or we are like this because of our efforts and intelligence. We forget to give God the glory, we forget the hand of the Lord that has always been favoring us regardless of our human intelligence or efforts. We did not do a thing and succeed without God’s hands upon us, His breath leading us to even stay alive or strong to begin with.  This is the reason why, we ought to never forget to thank God all the time. We face a lot of issues in life, but still. We will just thank God because He wants to work on our hearts so we can be able to help ourselves, others or to be strong to stand firm in the storm. He knows what He is doing, He created us, we cannot criticize Him. We do not need to become His judges but letting Him have that position is the best thing to do because we still have not figure out completely life, even if we have already reached maturity according to us. We still need to learn from Him and let Him correct us or help us relearn how He instructed us to live life the way He wants us to live it.  We just have to never forget that He loves us very much, and He just wants us to do our best as we listen to Him and understand his ways.
