Love

Love one another

As we gather in faith, let us take a moment to reflect on the profound message from 1 John 4:19-21:

We love each other because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister." (1 John 4:19-21, NIV)

1. Let us internalize the commandment to love one another as an integral part of our faith journey. Loving our neighbors, both within our community and beyond, is an expression of our devotion to God.

2. Take a moment to reflect on our attitudes and actions. Are they aligned with the love we receive from God? Let us seek to eliminate any trace of hatred or animosity, replacing it with the love that comes from our Creator.

3. Let us practice grace and compassion in our interactions. By doing so, we extend the love of God to those around us, becoming beacons of His light in the world.

As we go forth, may our actions speak louder than our words, and may the love of God flow through us to touch the lives of others. Remember, it is by our love that others will know we are His disciples.

Blessings to each one of you in Jesus Christ’s name.
