Jesus Christ at the temple

Luc 2:42 - 51

In everything we do, we must seek the face of God. Even though Jesus Christ is God himself, He was able to seek the kingdom of God first and was all about His Father's business.

We all see how blessed He was and is as far as being favored always. We ought to learn from Him and imitate Him through this bible reading. Jesus Christ stayed behind in Jerusalem and went to the temple while his parents found out he was not with them. They looked for him, found him and asked him why he treated them the way he did, and he told them that he was in his father’s house. At the temple, Jesus was among the teachers and asked them many questions. Jesus Christ knew the importance of going to the House of God the Father to seek Him before returning back with His parents.

Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is your son. I believe He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life. I want you Jesus Christ to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust you as my Savior and Lord and follow you from this day forward as you grant me with your Favor. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray.

Heavenly Father, we just want to thank you for everything. Help us to always seek your face before and after everything. We ask this in your name Jesus Christ. Amen!
