Hear the voice of the Living God

Luc 13 :6 - 9

As believers who received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, God is addressing this parable to us because we received Him. We are blessed of that divine favor that is given to us as an opportunity to be fruitful as He gives us time to see if we will change our bad behaviors. But if not, death is the only thing waiting for us. Moreover, He is adjusting us through His care by feeding us His words. In brief, let’s us do everything by all mean to read and live His words accordingly. If we won’t stop and listen to His instructions, we will be in trouble. This is why we are all exhorted to hear why He sent the warning. Our Lord Jesus Christ is warning some Jews about their identity in danger. Jesus Christ talks about the parable of the fig tree that was not producing fruits for 3 years. He gives hope to this group of people to see if giving them an opportunity to bear fruits, to be productive then judgment will not come their way but if there is no fruitfulness, then people will face judgment.
I would like all of us brethren to learn and hear His voice as He is speaking to us to change immediately. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with us and favor us in his name.

Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is your son. I believe He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life. I want you Jesus Christ to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust you as my Savior and Lord and follow you from this day forward as you grant me with your Favor. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray.

Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, God of Jacob and Isaac, we thank you for Jesus Christ who is sent to us and to the world. As we are approaching the New Year, let us celebrate the end of the Year 2023 and welcome 2024 in Jesus Christ’s name. May you God hear our voice to care for us, water us to be fruitful the way you want in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen!
