God is a merciful God

Psalm 4:1

I exhort you my brethren to keep praying and never stopping to do so. As this reading shows it clearly, prayer is important and prayer connects us to God by communicating to Him. He is the only one that can answer us when we pray to Him in Jesus Christ’s name. He is the only one that is merciful. As righteous as God is, He is the only one that is good and no-one can boast to be righteous but God alone. When we are anxious, we can lift our prayers to Him to help us anytime and while in distress. If we have depended on Him till now, we ought to continue otherwise who else can we lean on to? As we read again this psalm, let’s seek His face and pray this verse to remind him to hear our prayers. The word of God is powerful and we cannot exclude the word from our lives or projects.

Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is your son. I believe He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life. I want you Jesus Christ to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust you as my Savior and Lord and follow you from this day forward as you grant me with your Favor. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, God of Jacob and Isaac, we thank you for all you have done for us, and still trusting us when we call upon your name. Holy Spirit, lead us by helping us to know how to pray to cause our prayers to be answered by God. Have mercy on us oh God and help us to be happy as we serve you. We pray this prayer in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen!
