Coming of the Holy Spirit

2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all [a]with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them [b]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

During the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon the assembly in a rushing mighty wind as they were all sitting. Every person had tongues of fire deposited on them; and everyone spoke in tongues as the Holy Spirit manifested himself. This can seem like a big surprise to the disciples, the assembly that have been staying in the house; and as much as Jesus himself promised to send the Holy Spirit to his disciples, He was able to do so as He promised. It is like a prophecy that came to pass. This tells us that God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost is real and never lies when he speaks and tells us something, we need to believe it will come to pass. We need to trust Him more and be filled with His faith and Holy spirit to be able to accomplish our goals in life since we know He is our only God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and is real, He has been sent to us to help and to edify us.

The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, as we are lost driving around for example, and He can speak to us, guide us and bring much clarity to us in life. We saw that last time we looked at ways we can build our lives in speaking in tongues and we need the Holy Spirit in our lives, to gain power and do well in the kingdom of God. If we were not been given the Holy Spirit, we will not know how God thinks and does thinks in the spirit realm that reflects God alone and not counterfeit. We will not have orders in our church services and we will not discern good from evil and have a conscience and be told the truth about who God is.

Prayer: Father God, we love you, we adore you and humbling ourselves to you saying thank you for sending us your Son Jesus Christ to love us so much for him to lay down his life for us on the cross. Jesus Christ, you forgave our sins and truthfully honored us by sending your Spirit of Truth, and became our Resurrection, so we can have abundant life. You sent us the Holy Spirit because you love us, you never lied to us and you favor us. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for us to have your Ghost which is your Holy Spirit as you ascended to heaven, tells us that you really care about us to prosper and to be awakened spiritually and not to be left behind in the dark. The same way you love and think so highly of us, may you help us to love you so much as well and for us to trust the Holy spirit to advocate for us; and guide us always in our lives in Jesus Christ’s name. Help us to love one another as well. Holy Spirit, we thank you that you came and we can get your help everywhere at the same time because you are omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent in Jesus Christ name we prayed. Amen!
